Frequently Asked Questions
Poster fonts need high visibility and personality. They are typically display or heavy weight fonts (like Bebas Neue, Anton, or Cinzel) that stand out from a distance. High stroke contrast or thick slabs work best depending on the poster's artistic direction.
Align your fonts with your content's theme: 1) Cinematic uses high-contrast serif headers (like Cinzel) with wide-spaced sans-serif subtitles; 2) Retro/Vintage works well with heavy geometric sans or slab serifs; 3) Bauhaus/Swiss style relies on massive, ultra-bold, left-aligned sans-serifs (like Oswald).
Keep it to a maximum of two font families. A strong display font for the primary heading, and a highly readable sans-serif or serif for the supporting details (subtitles, dates, location).
